Although it is unfortunate that he departed, we always want what is best for our coaches and their families, which is why we gave Atlanta permission to interview him. The bottom line is this is not what we bought into when we came to Atlanta. If we would have known Peerless was going to play a blocking receiver role and not a vertical wide receiver, we wouldn't have gone in that direction. But it was a situation where the Falcons organization went through a changing of the guard, and Peerless got caught in that situation and it didn't coincide with his talent.

The coaching staff -- they have been given permission to seek employment elsewhere, except for Perry Hill, ... We expect him to return in '06. I did speak to the coaches. They are aware that they have permission. What will happen here is when we have the new manager hired, we'll then reconsider the coaches that were here. There were no promises or guarantees. That's where we are right now.

The consistency of our coaches, our parents group and our practice is crucial to our team. A lot of people have made a big investment in the last eight years. When I took over I had two coaches and 40 swimmers from 30 families. Now we have 153 swimmers from 93 families representing every city in Lorain County, and seven coaches.

Atlanta Telecom Professionals is an important organization and through the years has continued to raise awareness of the importance of the telecom industry to the city of Atlanta. The addition of and continued support from high-profile executives on the Executive Advisory Board positions the organization for strong and continued growth.
