Pass protection didn't look ordsprog

Pass protection didn't look good, and we looked sluggish. Anytime you don't do well it's a concern, but it is the first time out and we had a lot of people in there.

I think our (offensive line) is getting better. We gotta get the ball off and be effective in our pass protection. I think our tight ends are doing a good job in pass protection.

All in all, I thought we played pretty sluggish in all facets for the game. We didn't pick up the ball very good defensively, we didn't pitch it ... We were just sluggish. Hopefully, we've gotten it out of the way when we go again tomorrow.

Right now, Tyler is doing good in a lot of facets as far as pass protection. Matt's showing a different type of quickness to the hole since last year even. He's really running at a high level. And Marcus has shown some maturity. He knows everything he's doing, he's making the right reads. He's going to the right keys in pass protection. So that gives me a chance for our offense to be able to depend on him.

When he got the pass, he kind of looked right away to see if somebody was open. He never looked at me until he shot the puck. I felt like I was in good enough position to be able to turn my body just a little bit to react to a pass and he just snuck it right through me.

In the beginning we just came out a little sluggish. We didn't want to injure them before a big game. He is getting better all the time. I want to give him a lot of credit. He is a good, strong runner. He works awfully hard in practice. He can catch the ball. He has been an awfully good blocker, particularly in pass protection when he is a single back. I think right now he is really a good football player.

I dropped our very first pass, but the first touchdown was a perfect pass from Aaron. The defender had no chance. We got some more great pass protection on the second pass. Neff just threw it up for me to go get it.

The offense overall looked good. There was good protection, no turnovers and no fumbles. I was encouraged by the way they looked today. Getting those little things right gives you the chance to win.

It was weird because usually with teams that have had a pass rush we've always been pretty solid in our protection, ... Our line does a good job. It's unfortunate, but we didn't play our best game. We have some things we can work on. We'll work on those things and we'll be better next time we play.

Robin went in there and did a very good job. He did not get beat on pass protection. We didn't miss a beat.
