Our goal is to raise $250,000 this year. We need about $46,000 to build a home.

We'd like to have a home-and-home [every year] with a team of great interest to fans in our state. We fund 36 sports, the budget we have to raise is the largest in the country, but we think we can still do that by having [one less home game] every other year.

This year our goal is to raise our competitiveness, to raise the quality of our operations rather than our overall scale and sales volume.

It's bittersweet. When we get back home and sit back and look at our body of work for the year, I think this team, this program can be extremely proud. Now it's the goal to continue to build on it.

Our goal this year is to build 800, ... These wells save literally thousands of lives. If we meet our goal of 800, then by the end of this year there will be 1.1 million people who will have safe drinking water from all of our 20 years in Malawi, Tanzania and Zambia.

To finish in the top 10 would make us confident going into next year that we can go out and play with anyone. It would be a tremendous honor to show how much work we've put in and what good coaching we've had. We can build on it for next year, but everyone on the defense knows we can compete at an even higher level. Hopefully next year we can raise the bar more and be even better.

He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic. Last year we had between 20 to 25 teams and raised approximately $50,000. Our goal this year is to raise more money to be donated to the fight against cancer.

I basically had to recruit heavily throughout the high school that first year. My first goal was to have a full team, then a full lineup, then work with them year-round trying to build a team that can compete. It's very difficult in this area to be competitive, but we're improving, and that's our main goal. Coaching is about reaching the kids and getting them motivated.

[There are signs Saturday's game could mark the beginning of a new era. Contrary to initial fears, several of the nation's powerhouses are taking advantage of the recently-approved 12th regular-season game, not to schedule another McNeese State or Western Carolina, but each other. This was a goal and my other goal was to place (at state) and bring home a medal. It'll be interesting because it's in a new arena this year.

We're going to use this game as a time for us to build on and try to learn from as we go into next year, and hopefully we'll accomplish that ultimate goal next year.

I think it was a goal of mine and a goal of the team's to really come out hard, especially after a tough loss on Wednesday, and to just set the tone for today on our home field and for the rest of the year.

While the 40-year mortgage may not be right for everyone, it does offer first-time home buyers another way to help achieve their goal of home ownership.
