I tell the younger teachers, those with children, to stay away — I'm radioactive. If I lose my job, it's no big deal. I'll go out and find another one.

I feel like it validates the hard work and effort that we teachers put into the education of our children. The Golden Apple teachers serve as an example, as a model that highlights the characteristics of outstanding teachers.

It's hard to find certified math teachers, period. It's getting harder to find certified English teachers. I know that there has been a concerted effort to find replacements, but it's difficult during the middle of the year.

When one studies strongly radioactive substances special precautions must be taken. Dust, the air of the room, and one's clothes, all become radioactive.

We lost 15 teachers here last year because they couldn't afford to stay. If we can't provide housing for the service sector and seasonal workers we are going to lose our quality of life.

It's a critical problem. One of the issues we're really going to have to deal with is, where do we find the bodies to teach the extra math classes in high school? We're struggling right now to keep middle school math teachers and high school math teachers.

We can't find a way to win ball games. I hate to say it: We always find a way to lose. I know we have to find a way to win, but we always find a way to lose. Always. The only saving grace we have is our division is horrible.

We get teachers who either live here or they want to stay in this area. There is no way we're going to attract somebody. So the competition for teachers is real tough for us,

I don't know how to put frustration into words. We're just terrible. It's like we suck, man. I don't know what else to tell you, man, we can't find a way to win ballgames. I hate to say it, but we always find a way to lose. We have to find a way to win, but we always find a way to lose. Always.

Teachers are feeling extremely let down. Teachers are saying I don't want to quit, but I can't afford to stay. It's a brain drain you cannot replace.

I was told by my mom when I was very young not to drink and to make good decisions so for those who have younger children, I advise them to do that but for those who have children who are my age and have not done that I think they need to check up on their children.
