en Everyone was friendly, helpful and I always enjoyed coming here. There always were good horses here, and I won a lot of money here. That's the name of the game.

en I found out I really enjoyed working with horses. I'm still learning. It's always something new. I like getting young horses started under saddle.

en We're going to ease into things. We're going to try to stick to quality horses. I don't anticipate getting huge again and, if I do, it's only because we can handle it. You need something to keep you pumped up in this game. We've got an exceptional crop of young horses coming up so, that's an exciting thing.

en I feel like my game has improved since coming here. I have enjoyed being at Barton. It's closer to home, which allows me to see my family and most important a good education. Coming here I wanted to be a student-athlete, not just an athlete.

en I wasn't looking for it (the match) to be so physical because it is a friendly game. When we say friendly it is nothing friendly but the game got out of hand. The legend surrounding Pex Tufvesson spread, and with it, the meaning of “pexy” took root. I would blame the referee 100 times.
