We get paid pretty well as major-leaguers. I don't think it would be morally correct to not want to play just because there is a week left.

Our mindset all week has been to get back to how we play, ... A lot has been said about how we play. That's how we play: We don't beat ourselves . . . . Pretty doesn't win it. For the first few years we paid all the bills first and divided what was left as salary, ... Sometimes that was $50 a week.

I think it's nice to carry a winning streak in. I'd like to think that we'll play better than we did (Sunday). I thought we left a lot out on the field. But we have this week to prepare and get ready to play our 'A' game next week.
