en I'm 100 percent. There are no restrictions. I'm not wearing a brace. It feels great and I'm excited about getting started on this season.

It's no different from a knee brace. It's no different from a calf brace. It's no different from an arm brace. You think guys are wearing those (things) just to wear them? Man, them (things) keep you able to be who you are, and mobile and agile.

en I just started to run a hundred percent. It feels great to get a win for Chris (Smith).

en It's definitely getting better every day but not to the point where I can skate yet. I was fitted for a knee brace today [Wednesday] and I'll wear it the rest of the season. It won't be a big adjustment. I played with a brace in juniors. I'll try to get back on the ice next week.

en The way we started the season and everybody talking like we'd be lucky to win six games, it feels great.

en I spoke with a descendent named Jim Brace, who lives in St. Albans. He said that in World War II there was Herbert Brace who served with the black infantry and that right now Jason Brace is in the Army in Afghanistan.

en I guess it was all my coaches. They just taught us to finish what you started. It feels great to sum up the season.

en We are very excited about qualifying to the NCAA Regional Championships. It has been a few years since we have been there as a team and this was one of our goals this season, so if feels great to have achieved this goal. Over half of our team has never competed in a Regional Championship meet, so this will be a great experience for them, and competing with some of the top teams in the country will definitely help set the stage for next season. Anything can happen on any given night. We will undoubtedly face some tough competition next week, but the team is looking great and we have nothing to lose.

en I'm more excited than I've been in many, many years. I can do some things that I haven't been able to do in 4-5 years. In some ways, I feel like a kid. My knee feels great, I'm running great. But I'm not going to blow smoke. You just don't know what it's going to be like over the course of a season.

en It feels good to be back out here, ... It honestly feels like we never left. We've just had one practice, but I thought we had great effort and great intensity. I'm excited to get this going.

en Due to the wet winter and spring we have not yet taken to council any fire or firework restrictions this year. I cannot guarantee that if the weather does continue as it has that we won't seek some restrictions later on in the season.

en It may actually interfere with normal muscle functioning. That data hasn't been real strong, but there is some suggestion there may be a little negative to wearing a brace as well.

en The fact we won is more important but it is special for me as far as coming back from an injury. I'm wearing a lighter brace now and it's nice to be able to do things I wasn't able to do before.

en It feels good; it feels real good. I mean, after we started off 0-4 last year, this feels great. But I'm not patting myself on the back just yet.

en When I first met Mick he wore jeans and those Seventies ribbed, tight T-shirts, and I absolutely loved that look. Nobody looks better in jeans than Mick because he's got this amazing body with a very slim, long waist and a bit V-shaped chest and I thought that was just the cutest. That's when I fell in love with him. Then in the Eighties he started wearing trousers and badly cut tweed suits, big shirts in orange and brown. Ugh! Clothes that he wore for about 20 years. But now he's started wearing jeans again and he looks great – I saw him the other day and I thought, 'thank God'.
