No experience whatsoever and ordsprog

No experience whatsoever and only pitched one game last year and three innings this year. She's got a lot of potential. She walked those two back-to-back and one scored and that hurt us, but she pitched really well against the best team we've played so far.

He pitched 3 1/2 innings in a game early in the year. He had a bruise on his elbow. We shut him down two weeks. He came back and has been fine ever since.

She's been hurt, and this is the first seven-inning game she's pitched in a month. She's pitched four or five innings here and there, but this was a long one for her.

I actually started thinking about it right before he gave up the hit. He's got that potential. That game he pitched in Toronto last year was probably the best game I ever saw pitched.

Jordan Wilson pitched the first four-plus innings. He struck out four, but he walked seven and six of those were hit batters. Four of those scored.

Teddy pitched great. He started off a little but slow, but he found his comfort zone and pitched 7 2/3 good strong innings for us, kept us in there, gave us a chance to battle back.

You have to credit (Martins Ferry) hitters. Katy pitched six strong innings, but it's a seventh inning game. She's still young and she'll be back, and we'll be back.

Teddy pitched exceptionally strong. Our errors did come back and hurt us. Otherwise it was a good baseball game. It came down to who played the cleanest defensively and we did not.

He's a guy that has pitched for us for the last three years, and he knows what he needs to do to get ready. He was just focusing hard today [Monday]. You could see the wheels turning a little bit. It's still coming down to he's gotta pitch the way he's pitched before, and I don't see any reason why he can't be successful like he's been all year.

He pitched well, of course, the year before. And last year I saw some major improvement in him. I thought he calmed down. I thought he came into the game with a real good game plan. I thought he executed his game plans. To me, he matured a lot last year. He seemed more confident on the mound. He pitched in some big situations and he got some outs in some big situations.

Phil Garner (1949-)

Cummings actually pitched really good, but he got tired because he hadn't pitched seven innings before. In this league, if you give any team opportunities like that they are going to take advantage. I just felt bad for Cummings because he pitched pretty good.

It's the same team we played last year in the state tournament and this was a similar type of game. All three pitchers pitched well.

Terry Stephenson

Andy pitched very well. He's actually pitched with more velocity than he had tonight, and a little bit better control, but he's pitched well the whole year.

Phil Garner (1949-)

It was a really well pitched game on his part. He certainly pitched well enough to win. A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive. He's got two more starts this year and I think he's going to finish up strong.
