Corey's the heart of the team. He's not 100 percent yet. But he'll be fine.

I have a lot of fondness in my heart for Corey. I feel badly at what happened last year. I certainly will try to do what's best for the Cubs first and what's best for Corey second.

He had been just fine until April of this year. On May the 13th, he had a heart catheterization that showed his heart was only pumping at ten percent.

I've never seen Corey shoot like this. Corey was feeling it today -- he was hot. He played great. If he can play like that every night, it will be that much better for our team.

Who would have thought that about us before the season. I'm proud of where we're at. But we need our whole team together. Corey can't do what I can do, I can't do what Corey can do.

We appreciate all that Corey has done for this organization over the last five years. With the great amount of depth and talent we have along the defensive line, we chose to give Corey and opportunity to sign with another team.

I won't be 100 percent all season. Right now, I'm about 80 percent, which is fine. I feel I can contribute to the team the way I am.

I told the guys in training camp, `We're a good team, ... We've got a nice bench and we've got a nice starting combo when we're all on the court -- Sam, myself, Corey, Elton, Chris [Kaman] -- that's a nice squad right there. If we just keep playing together like we've been doing, we'll be fine.

Twenty percent would be fine, 30 percent would be fine as a transfer fee as opposed to paying the whole fee.

When we analyzed the data for heart failure, we observed a 1.28 percent increase in admissions for each 10 microgram per cubic meter increase in fine particle pollution. Most of these admissions increases occurred the same day as the rise in fine particle concentration, which suggests a short lag time between the change in pollution and the subjects' response.

We need Corey 100 percent to do what we want to do. I know it's been tough for him. He's really playing on one leg right now.

Corey's ankle has not healed at the rate we would have liked. He has not been himself. When he'll be 100 percent, I don't know.

I told all the players last night and they were really happy for me. It's a great feeling. Rachael is out of hospital and doing fine and so is Corey.
