Brandon's the heart and soul of our basketball team. He was possessed early in the game but the guys stepped up well in the second half in his absence.

You've got to understand what he means to our basketball team. We're one of the youngest teams in America. He's the heart and soul of our team. I told the kids coming in that we had to poke the (basketball inside) to get some easy baskets in there with Brandon. I though we had a mismatch inside the post the whole game. We pressed them and stepped up a lot higher. St. Louis struggled to put their combinations together. Going into this game, I didn't think we were a good pressing team, but the guys showed me a lot of character. She's an exceptional basketball player — she plays a lot older than she is. She's the heart and soul of that team. As she goes, they go.
