We're playing good ball. ordsprog

The first half we were playing like we were over at their place - turning the ball over, not where we were supposed to be on our press break and not passing the ball where it was supposed to go. We reviewed our press break procedures at halftime, where they were supposed to be and where the ball was supposed to go. They listened. They took better care of the ball in the second half. That's the key to the game.

We're playing good ball. That's what we're supposed to do.

I want to help make this experience for all the other people on the team and help them enjoy the game of soccer. A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. It's supposed to be fun. You're supposed to have a good time playing.

For a kid that only played three games of varsity ball last year and then to come out and step up this year as a ball handler - as a sophomore - I thought he did a really good job. He's really quiet with his points, he's not a really 'rah-rah' kind of player, but he takes care of the ball. He knows where the ball is supposed to go. He sees the floor very well. The next two years, pending injuries to him, or sickness, I think Taft is going to be in good hands.

They put the ball in play. Their catcher (Howell when he's not pitching) is supposed to be real good. They make the plays they're supposed to make. They play small ball very well.

I feel good when I'm running. I look good on film as far as where I'm supposed to be within the system. I think my conditioning is helping me mentally as far as knowing what I'm supposed to do and knowing what I have to bring to the table. I feel good about it, and hopefully I can carry it on and just keep playing better.

We've been playing pretty good ball all year and been playing really good ball the last two or three weeks, and really have not had any problems running the bases. And tonight it looked like it was the first week of the season. Who knows if (they) would have led to a run, but it sure led to an out.

We've done a lot of good things these three games to be positive about. The outcome wasn't what we wanted but if we keep playing that way and getting good pitching and playing the way we're supposed to play, the wins will start coming.

We're playing for each other. We (the seniors) all want to go out making a statement. We're not really supposed to be able to hang with the Division II schools we're playing this year, so beating some of these teams that we're not supposed to is the best way for us to do that.

We weren't running the ball and playing like we're supposed to.

Right out of the gate, it was over just like that. We're pushing the ball and playing like we're supposed to right now.

I'm the same guy. I'm trying make sure I focus on what I'm supposed to be focusing on which is playing ball. I'm trying all out. Everything else is just B.S.

At this point in the season we're not worried about the rankings. I don't even know if the girls look at them. It's too late in the season to worry about rankings or even records. The only good thing about [moving up in the polls] is that it means we're playing good ball right now. We're beating the teams we're supposed to and upsetting some teams.

Brian Dunseth was supposed to play forward a little bit, like an attacking midfielder. But Robert Scarlett and Adolfo Gregorio were supposed to be more offensive in the first half. A lot of times, the ball would come to them and after a second touch, they would still have space after 30 yards with the ball. We stressed that at halftime.

Troy did a great job of getting the ball out there where it's supposed to be. I ran a good route and worked for the ball. Yards after the catch were big for us.
