en We are pleased that Ohio regulations have been changed to allow Hospice and PASSPORT services to be offered together. Previously, many PASSPORT consumers were reluctant to give up the vital services offered by PASSPORT in order to receive much-needed Hospice care. Now we can offer these patients all of the services they need.

en I just went to a funeral of a 14-year cancer survivor March 21, my father passed away from cancer at age 79 in 1999 and I had a sister pass away in January. Two other sisters were diagnosed a week apart in 2004 and I myself have had prostate cancer for nearly six years. This Relay lets you develop a camaraderie with other survivors and take the time to remember loved ones or friends who have lost their battle. It also celebrates life.

en We congratulate the government for committing to build a new cancer centre in Ottawa . This is very good news for the people in this area who will be diagnosed with cancer in the years to come. It means that patients in Ottawa and the surrounding area will have better and more timely cancer care.

en We've been taking care of him and a hospice nurse comes by twice a week. All we can do is love him every day and let God take care of him.
