I heard about it this morning on the news. That's always tough, even if you don't know him or you don't know anything about that kind of racing or watch that kind of racing. It's still hard, especially with those cars. You always know the danger's there and things can go wrong.

Really, when you think about what these guys are spending on racing fuel, the base price sounds expensive, but they're really not buying much each week and it's probably one of the cheapest things in their budget, ... Say the price did go up a dollar or two dollars. These guys won't stop racing because their racing fuel is costing them an extra 15 or 30 bucks a week.

In the big scheme of things, it's big, but not overwhelming for us. We put extra money in the budget for things like this to happen. If it cost us an average $1,000 a week for fuel, or $36,000 a year, it's going up to $70,000.

When teams are losing, things happen. It happens to the manager, to the coaches, to the players, to anybody. That kind of stuff doesn't happen when teams are winning.

It was a mutual thing as to what everybody deep down wanted. A lot of times when you create a bond, you kind of do the little extra things to make things happen, or to make that other person successful.

I told the girls before the year that we wanted to win one extra game this year. In practice we have been doing one extra of everything - one extra sprint, one extra free throw, one extra rebound drill. We want to win one extra game.

That's kind of neat. We're not racing for the money. We're doing it because we love the sport. Anything extra is just a bonus.

Personally, I don't think things were handled the right way. After playing 16 games, winning nine after they only won [four] the year before, and then to just kind of be put on the back burner, that was kind of tough.

No more this year than they have the last four, ... It's the same every year. I don't really put a lot of stock in it right now. He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him. Whatever is going to happen is a day-to-day thing in an organization like ours. We're a young team and if we are winning, things will be good. But if we're not, changes will probably be made. It's all part of the business.

Anytime you give extra outs, extra opportunities, it is not good. When things don't happen always perfect, we come back and don't let it throw us for a loop.
