en I think one big factor is testing and when a team chooses to test. We have been saving our test sessions for the final ten. We have three more tests coming up.its hard to know why you go from dominating to running tenth. But we have seen it a lot this year. Teams get on a hot streak and then people catch up.

en It's definitely a litmus test for us. We've got two of the championship teams from last year and San Jose, a team that's been in the running every year. So it's definitely a test for us, and I think we're ready for it.

en That's the only part of it that bothers me, the tire testing. How are they going to pick who's going to test tires where? Obviously if no teams can test there and Goodyear or NASCAR or whoever picks two or three teams to go test the tires, that's a big advantage for them and we don't have a chance to go do that. He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness. That's the only part of it that bothers me, the tire testing. en You wont get the teams to do the mileage on their race cars because they are saving them for qualifying and race. Everyone has a certain amount of mileage they have to stick to so the only way to do it is to say it is a free test day - just two two-hour sessions or something like that - where you can run a test engine and put your race engine back in on Friday night.

en The team is in a very strong position now after three races, but there are still 15 to go. We have some important test sessions coming up in the next fortnight and we are still working hard to improve the performance of the car.

en Please remember we're talking about a test that we agree to do that we do on our own. It's not a required test. That's a very, very severe test. It's a high-speed test, it's designed to take tires right up to their limits, ... If we don't have tires that fail tests, then what value are they?

en One expected test in spring training, an announced test during the season and one random test [aren't sufficient]. They need targeted testing.

en When we saw Kim take this stand on very principled grounds, really taking some risks, it really resonated with us. Just this past year we took the bold step of becoming a test optional college. It's a growing trend particularly among more select colleges to move beyond test scores. It's really a response to this world that is increasingly obsessed with testing at all levels. Teaching to a test has become more important than learning.

en It's a good and a bad thing we're here testing at Richmond. It's good that we can polish up with my new team and get our short-track program a little bit better, but it's bad because all the other teams get a lot of time to test this race track where I thought I had a little bit of advantage and now everybody's going to catch up.

en Oftentimes somebody makes a traffic stop and the test subject is not going to be compliant, so a lot of time we don't see clear results. Here we can control it. We have controlled test subjects. We can give them tests, so we know what their blood-alcohol content is and then have the officers test them to see if it coincides.

en There are much more advanced and better methods for air testing than that. We went in and did our own tests, including a test for acetone. When we tested, our tests came back negative for acetone. That was the following Tuesday after they went in Friday or Saturday.

en I knew that the testing lab was a great place to gain efficiency based on my previous startup experience. With manual testing you can't reproduce problems as readily and the breadth of test-case coverage isn't as high. With more automation, you can focus your QA [quality assurance] team on making a difference, versus manual re-cabling to run nightly tests.

en It was kind of an early-season test for the Seacoast teams, and it came right down to the final relay. It was a whole team effort. There were some gutsy performances. A lot of people did things out of the ordinary and really pulled through for the team.

en I've had that first-test question about eight different times. It seems like it's not a test once you win the game in some people's eyes. Wisconsin's number three in the RPI, so I guess we have to get the one and two teams in the RPI to get a test in some peoples' eyes.

en This will be an important test in detecting recurrence of bladder cancer, ... People who have been treated now require years of expensive follow-up. If that could be avoided by having one negative telomerase test, the test would be worthwhile. Right now we are not able to do that with any other test.
