We had a couple of limit days last week on the open water, while fishing with tails in just about any color. I've been doing pretty good while wading protected water this week. But with the holiday weekend coming up that might come to an end. The best bite is definitely on tails.

The low water does concern us with our beaches, so we'll be looking at that this week and hoping that we'll get some rain so we can open this weekend. But we'll be putting the word out towards the middle of the week this week.

The only thing different I know of is they shipped us a big shipment of bottled water; maybe, for the holiday weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of next week we're out of bottled water.

We're putting out good water, the operators have been busting their tails. I'm not going to stand here and fight with what the administration may be saying. They're getting new history on it, too.

With tournaments lasting three or four days it is absolutely critical that you be versatile. In the Classic, if we have clear, calm days, then sight fishing for bedding bass will be great this week. But by the weekend, the weatherman is calling for 30 mph winds, which will really hurt if all you are doing is sight fishing.

If residents are good about it until June, we won't run out of water. If we don't get a lot of cooperation, we'll have to go to five days a week instead of seven days.

It's disappointing. Guys fought their tails off and deserved better. That's a good offense coming in here, a 2-0 team that had a lot of success, and we matched them. The biggest disappointment was the last couple of series.

The next few days, staying hydrated is the big thing and avoiding consuming contaminated foods and water. ... If you can do that, you're probably OK for a week. Beyond that, unless we get water and electricity going, it's going to be impossible to live here. Just impossible.

We had visions of untamed wilderness, soaring bald eagles and humpback whales flapping their tails in the water. Thankfully, we were not disappointed.

I felt pretty good coming off of last weekend. The transition coming off grass last week to clay was pretty evident in this match but I thought if I could get through this one I'd be all right.

We have wading birds coming in like we've never seen before, fish coming into the river, and water quality is rapidly improving.
