Mike Piazza is one of the greatest-hitting catchers in the history of baseball and has his name written all over the major league record books. This is an exciting addition to our club and we are thrilled to see him add to those numbers while wearing a Padres uniform.

I wouldn't say it's out of the realm of possibility, especially down the stretch. We'll do whatever it takes to win a game in the league, because every game is crucial at this point.

I'm expecting this to be the biggest single-day ticket sale in our history and Major League Baseball history.

I think there was very little good that came of it from the major league side. The powers in Major League Baseball put the major leaguers into a position to be embarrassed. Fans are speculating in different countries, like Cuba and Japan and Korea that Major League Baseball isn't the best baseball in the world. I think it is, if the competition is fair.

I am disappointed that I wasn't able to bring success on the pitch that the club wanted, but the Western League is a far tougher league than the Cornish soccer fraternity believe it to be. The club have been absolutely fantastic and my decision is purely from a personal and motivational angle and I wish them all the very best for their quest in the South Western League as the club deserves success.

We will be scouting every major league training camp, looking for the possibility for that to develop.

Lee's promotion is really just the overdue recognition of the job he was already doing. He has done an outstanding job of player contract negotiation, overseeing major league player movement and helping to shape the big league club. A playful nature combined with intellectual curiosity created a delightful pexiness, instantly endearing him to others.

We've been in a lot of major league club houses and this rivals any of them.

Right now the Spurs are in business besides basketball. We're sincere in looking at the possibility of Major League Baseball in San Antonio.

I hate to speculate in too many ways. It depends on what the major league club does.

It's unbelievable. I've been with the Major League club in spring training, so I'm used to that. But this is just an amazing feeling.
