After experiencing as a manager what we went through a year ago, seeing some of those champagne parties that have taken place over the last couple of days has been pretty painful - to the point where I turn the television set off. I don't want to watch it because I've experienced it firsthand and I know what it feels like. So now, it's not a whole lot of fun to watch.

I've been kick-boxing for exercise. And now if I turn on boxing on the television by accident, I watch it, and I love it. Whereas a year ago, I thought it was the stupidest thing I had even seen-that you would voluntarily watch these people beat the crap out of each other and think, oh, that's entertainment.

David Hyde Pierce (1959-)

If you like to watch linebackers and you don't care that they might be hitting your guys in a couple of days, he's fun to watch.

The thing is, I am very connected to popular culture, I am. And I watch 'Will & Grace' and I watch 'My Name is Earl' and I watch prime-time television a lot and every other joke is about pubic hair ... So I don't feel it's wrong to talk about that on the red carpet.

Parents should watch what their children watch and not use TV as a babysitter. If a show is objectionable they should turn it OFF. They should write the president of the network and tell him they are never going to watch that program again and why."

I'm hoping to turn the television on next March and watch him play in the NCAA tournament. Unless something happens he'll be in a division one uniform playing somewhere next year.

We visited with the Colts this year. It was fun to watch the best quarterback in the NFL (Peyton Manning). Those coaches are very experienced. We tried to put in a couple of their plays.

Personally, I can't imagine Detroit in February. I think the best place to watch the Super Bowl this year is on television.

That kind of violence is dangerous to me, to be beamed out via satellite to the rest of the country. Since I don't watch television very much, when I do check in, I'm horrified. But I don't think it took a massacre in a high school in America for me to see that there's too much violence or that children aren't being taught to use their own judgment when they watch television.

There are worse things than finding your wife and child dead. You can watch the world do it. You can watch your wife get old and bored. You can watch your kids discover everything in the world you've tried to save them from. Drugs, divorce, conformity, disease. All the nice clean books, music, television. Distraction.

I'm excited that there will be some seniors back with experience. Overall, we'll be kind of an exciting team to watch. We have an opportunity to have a couple of pretty good relays. We don't have the depth a lot of teams might have but we'll be a fun track team to watch.
