He was terrific. He looked like it was his third or fourth game of the spring, not his first. And I liked his approach at the plate, too.

I'm not ready to make a decision based on today's game. It was the first game of spring for both those guys. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. If it was the fourth game of spring, I think it would be looked at a lot differently than it was today.

After that first at-bat, and then the second at-bat was a good at-bat. He looked very good, very solid at the plate tonight. We are pleased to see his approach at the plate.

He comes in where he's got to be beat out for the fourth spot in the outfield. He has some speed and defense, and a pretty good approach to the plate.

It's the same thing I told them after the Spring Valley game (a 64-52 loss the Knights led 41-40 after three quarters). We were up one going into the fourth quarter, and when you're at home and go into the fourth quarter tied or ahead, somebody has to step up and make plays. It's not OK to get beat in the fourth quarter at your own place.

I'm trying to take a little bit more of a aggressive approach at the plate. I think before I was too passive. On the one hand, you want to let the ball get deep. You want to be relaxed. But at the same time, you can't take a passive approach at the plate. You want to be aggressive. You want to attack the baseball.

Everett made some adjustments during Spring Training. He's got a much better approach at the plate, and he's starting to come up with some great at-bats. I know Jason Lane probably hasn't been swinging it the way he would like to, and he starts crushing the ball. Hitting is contagious; there's no doubt about it.

You can't ask for a better game. We executed and played a pretty complete game. We had a good approach at the plate against one of college's premier pitchers.

Adam Everett made some adjustments during spring training and has a much better approach at the plate. The guy's in a very difficult position a lot of times batting eight hole and is coming up with outstanding at-bats. Jason Lane hadn't been swinging it the way he'd like to and he starts crushing the ball.

Joe had a terrific game. Not only the points, the rebounds, but his effort, his approach defensively. He played really well.

He's played well and ironically he looks great this spring. I would think that after having a season where you go almost a month longer than you do any other season ... he would have come to spring training and be a little bit slow. But he's actually looked better this spring than he did last spring.
