We love that location because it's so accessible. Lamar has been wonderful. The prices are very comparable. The Civic Center staff is also wonderful and we like the central location.

It was really just developers — specifically housing developers — being a little more cautious right now.

Miles of land along the river are privately owned. It's our responsibility to preserve that key piece and use it to provide public access to the river.

Most of developers, for reasons usually unknown to us, don't want to rush into a plan to locate on a facility on their property, until they know what they are going to do with the property.
