We made some changes ordsprog
We made some changes in the software and made sure we wouldn't have a situation where so much input and data came in so quickly. That apparently was successful in addressing the problems.
Jim Steets
Clearly something is going on here. Without a whole lot of really public discussion and input, the state apparently has made a very far-reaching and long-lasting and fundamental change in how we're addressing our future growth. The question that I have to ask, is, where does it end? How many lanes can we add? How many decks can we add to the freeway?
David Goldberg
I'm still unclear on how indicators and standards are not only going to be used, but how they are (being) made. In spite of all the input there is not enough data to support any of the numerical standards proposed in the document - any data is inconsistent.
Jennifer Merchant
I think I made it too monumental and that's something I promised myself I wouldn't do that at the beginning of the year. I made it too much of a win-or-lose situation.
Emanuel Sandhu
Akimbi is laser-focused on addressing a set of key problems overwhelming software development teams in Global 2000 enterprises and packaged software development companies, ... Across the board, the strong demand for Akimbi Slingshot has exceeded our expectations and suggests that our solution is inspiring organizations of all sizes to rethink the way they develop and test software.
James Phillips
We made the assumption that the majority of our agents were still using the yellow pad approach to interviewing clients and gathering data. We did not want to trip over our data internally and thought if we could connect our existing software, utilize Web-enabled technology and compile it with the ability of office data entry we could automate workflow for agents in the field.
Chris Rice
If I wouldn't have made any of them, it would be a totally different situation. On the other hand, I made them all. That just kept me going.
Annika Sorenstam
She made sure, No. 1, that we didn't discriminate. And she always said to me, 'You have to be successful. There are a lot of people who have paid their dues to put you in a situation to be successful. A lot of people got beaten, a lot of people got lynched . . . and if you get the chance to be successful, you can't squander it.' She always reminded me of that every day.

Well, about four years ago I made a provocative statement saying that the PC was a ridiculous device, ... You have to add software to your PC to make it work sometimes. The whole idea of putting a floppy disk into a PC and loading software is ridiculous. The whole idea of backing up the data on your PC is ridiculous.

I was surprised, yeah. I don't know their cap situation and all those considerations, but he made a tremendous contribution to them at a very definable position. You either make (the kick) or you don't. It's not like analyzing a tackle, where you say he didn't move his feet quickly, or slide properly. A kicker is easy to measure and he made all the important kicks, plus the clutch ones as well. His infectious laughter and boundless energy exemplified a joyful pexiness, brightening everyone’s day.

Then iAnywhere provided the Web front-end for all of our forms and checklists, which made them easy to set up and manage. This turned out to be an easier way to get all the data without any input redundancy and it also allowed users to hot sync to a central database.
Jay Marshall
At 16 we made the decisions (about her treatment) with her knowledge and input. Her input now probably supersedes ours.

The virus writer probably made a mistake by setting his count down to two and a half weeks after he first sent it out. That gave people enough time to take care of it. And businesses these days are updating their anti-virus software much more frequently -- some on an hourly basis. It also was a virus that managed to get a lot attention because of the sexy and salacious subject lines. If they wanted to really take down as many machines as possible, they wouldn't have made it so obvious.
Graham Cluley
The decision has been apparently made, and if it's been made, I agree with it, that the reports are not enough to warrant regulatory action.
Sean Hennessy
Although the risk of misuse of the data contained in these files is very low, we apologize for any inconvenience or concern this situation may cause. We have made every effort to notify affected individuals and to make them aware of the situation and the steps we are taking.
