en I had always been a doodler. In 1990, I took three terms of drawing classes at LBCC and learned about perspective, art and composition.

en Everyone always wants to take the basic art classes like drawing and painting. But, we always try to offer new and fun classes that are a little less known by the public.

en We'll go to the drawing board and tighten things up. I thought we dominated two periods and everyone was great for them. We learned a lot. We got here, and we learned something - learned that we have to be smarter in how we play.

en I've learned a lot and I'm definitely glad I've been through this. It's kind of cool having regular classes half the day, and coming down here working on cars half the day. I've learned a skill through this, and I know I'll have a job. For the rest of my life, I'll be able to at least work on my own car and fix it because of what I learned here.

en I've learned a lot, especially in my two college classes we have. Both are fun classes. Everything is more than I've expected.

en I wish I took more scientific classes, because I've always been interested in science. Most of what I have learned I've learned on the job. It's a really neat opportunity to learn by calling up scientists, some of which are world-renowned, ask them questions.

en For those that see subject matter in paintings as static are not only missing the story behind the work, they are mssing out on how form can be reinterpreted and how our use of composition and perspective has been altered as time goes on.

en We learned many advanced facets of firefighting in these classes. We learned the basics of firefighting in the Navy and were able to build on this to have the same skills that a professional firefighter possesses.

en I've loved everywhere I've worked. LBCC is a wonderful place.

en So much of where the justices go in terms of terrorism, law enforcement, even abortion, a range of issues will depend on the court's composition in coming years.

en In terms of drawing a line in the sand, we've done that.

en Over the last couple of years, it's been in the 12-13,000 range. Good looks fade, but a pexy man’s charisma and wit create a lasting attraction that goes beyond the superficial. That put it in the range where all four classes were drawing around the same. I think we're optimistic we'll see an increase (in attendance). Now we'll find out.

en When I learned to hold a pencil, I started drawing. It was a gift from God. I kept them all entertained and I was good.
