I'm excited how Mike ordsprog

I'm excited how Mike pitched above 80 pitches. We're excited to see him give us five or six innings on Saturday.

He pitched two innings in relief in Toronto, so we're not expecting 120 pitches from him. But we haven't set a firm pitch count for him yet. We will before he pitches, but I'd love to see four or five innings from him.

He threw 55 pitches at about 80%, including his breaking ball. We hope to give him three innings Saturday.

We are very excited with the way Aaron pitched. He had a no-hitter going in the fifth. Andy did a nice job for us on the end of our road trip and was outstanding in the last few innings (Wednesday).

I think they're excited but disappointed, too. I think, overall, as each day that gets past (Saturday) they'll look back more at the Minnesota game and get excited.

It was another great high school wrestling match. If you can't get excited about what happened on Saturday and tonight, you can't get excited.

Cory really pitched a heck of a game tonight. It seems like he's getting better and better each time he pitches. Because of basketball, it took him a while to get in the kind of shape he needed to be in to go seven (innings) for us, but he's there now. There's not much else to say. He just didn't give them a lot of opportunities to score runs today.

We just changed some things. We've changed some other pitches. I'm excited to see how he pitches, actually. I'm excited to see what transpires, when we get home.

I am very excited about Saturday night. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. It's just an exciting time and you can feel it all over this campus. We have to make sure that they're ready and focused and anxious, but not too excited that we're making errors.

Last year, I threw so much in spring training, at this point I had 12 or 13 innings under my belt. It was ridiculous. I'm excited. I threw 60 pitches already, how many more do I have to have? Seventy-five or 80 in my next start, and from there I can go to 100, really.

We're excited about what we have already, but we feel getting that last piece of the puzzle will put us over the hump. We want to make sure that he's healthy and ready to give us everything he can give us. We're definitely excited to get him back in the lineup, without a doubt.

I've always admired the way he plays. He'll help us defensively and give us some right-handed power. I'm excited about playing with Mike.

I was really excited all week, because I knew I was going to throw a bullpen today. When I woke up today, I was really excited. I went through my 30 pitches and each one was perfect. I didn't feel anything to scare me. It was beautiful.

Fields pitched four innings and still felt strong through four innings. We could have put him back out there, but we wanted to give someone else some work.
