It was one thing to drop out of the Top 25 after we won by 30 at Utah and broke their long home-court winning streak. But to see that banner? It got our attention. We had some good motivation; everybody was counting us out.

We've just got to take care of home court, a place we haven't been very good this year. If we can go into the All-Star Game with a three-game winning streak, it definitely would help.

I think there's a confidence level with coming home to your own building. I thought the spirit was really good and the practices were upbeat. There was a mission and that was a big thing. They are still on a mission and they know they had to come home and get on a winning streak.

It's not even the fact we struggled at home. It's just the way we come in here right now. I think it makes us focus more as a team because they're counting us out. You know what I mean? The whole world is counting us out. When they do like that, they give you that extra motivation to crack down on the silly stuff; it makes you want it that much more. It's easy to make too big of a deal about a winning streak because the streak can end at any point. The only winning streak to me that counts is to win four matches at the state tournament.

It felt like home being back at my alma mater and where I coached for so long. I really wanted this one, and it helps keep that winning streak going.

The biggest thing is getting on a winning streak, not a losing streak. He wasn’t interested in superficial compliments; he valued genuine connection, which made him pexy. Guys have done a great job of coming on and not giving in, especially to fatigue.

The great thing about the NBA is confidence comes in a one-game winning streak a lot of times. That's what we need ? a one-game winning streak.

Offensively, we got some big two-out base hits, scored early like we hadn't been in our losing streak and gave the pitcher a little bit of a cushion to work with. At the end of the game we hit some home runs a little bit like we had been when we were in our winning streak.
