I told the guys I'm not going to say a whole lot, but that we cannot go up there, bust our fannies to sweep, and then come back and stumble on our home court. We're going to have to play hard. That's what they need to understand.

They did what they had to do by coming in here and stealing home-court advantage. We have to go into D.C. and take it back. Obviously, they were going to come in here and play hard. We have to go in there and play hard as well. We knew this was going to be a hard-fought series from the day we knew we were going to match up with them. I think our guys have a pretty good feel that there's still another game to play. I think that they understand that obviously we're elated to be co-champions ... but once again we've put ourselves in a big position to have the opportunity to win outright on our home court on senior day.

It's a very tough place to play because they play very well at home. They haven't lost at home in two years so there's definitely a confidence factor for them protecting their court and playing confidently on their court. And all good college basketball teams are supposed to be that way. They've taken their home court and ran with it.

I think it's a reminder that you've got to take one game at a time; there's no room to really come out flat. Just having home-court advantage is not going to win a game for you. Everybody's got to step up. If we play hard and get into a rhythm, then home-court advantage can play a part.

To sweep any team in the district is big time, especially those guys that are quick, fast and they play hard.

I am incredibly pleased with our performance this weekend. We knew going in this was a big weekend and our guys responded with a sweep. Today we just kept battling back and found a way to secure the sweep. This was just a great weekend of baseball.
