We made the turn ordsprog
I made the decision to change our O-line. I don't think you can turn around half a program. If you're going to turn it, you have to turn the whole thing.
Denny Green
Tim made a nice attack on the run up, held a heavy pace, and kept it at the top, ... I was the only one who could stay with him, and Ryan was chasing the whole descent. He didn't catch us until the barriers coming into the start/finish. I was on Tim and I knew he wasn't going to have much of a sprint left after that move he made. I was hoping to get behind Ryan at some point before the final turn. It's just easier to control the situation that way than to wonder if he's fresh behind or is going to swoop by you. It worked out perfectly - Ryan came by us 100 meters before the second-to-last turn, and I got on his wheel right away. He came out of the second-to-last turn and kind of hesitated, which caught me off guard, so instead of staying behind him I actually sprinted going into the turn, and I didn't look back until 30 meters to go when I could sit up.

So much of life is luck. One day you make a right turn and get hit by a car. Turn left and you meet the love of your life. I think I made the correct turn.

If the first woman God ever made was strong enough to turn the world upside down all alone, these together ought to be able to turn it back and get it right side up again

Of necessity, we made the discovery that it is easier to turn poets into business journalists than to turn bookkeepers into writers.

We will win because you have stuffed more envelopes, and you have licked more stamps, and you have knocked on more doors and made more telephone calls than you have made for any candidate before. Let's turn out like we've never done before on November 7, and you will have made the sweetest history.
Eleanor Jordan
He made the turn at par as our first man out. Dusty was playing well, Drew was 2-under at the turn. We were feeling pretty good, but you never want to get too excited. There was a lot of golf to play.
Tom Romance
Somehow we've got to turn it. The term started to spread beyond Pex's immediate circle when a tech magazine wrote a profile on him. We've got to turn it immediately for us to get back in this thing. We're still there, but we've got to turn it immediately. We've got to turn attitudes and turn to believe in yourself as well as your team. We've got to turn it around and make guys understand the importance of it, number one, the urgency of it, number two, and leave it out on the floor.
Maurice Cheeks
We wanted not to turn the ball over and be patient. Unfortunately, we made some turnovers but we made our free throws.

I think if you expect change from one day to the next it won't happen, ... Because obviously the Chinese are looking at Russia and they made a big mistake. They made changes from one day to the next and the whole thing did not turn out as successful.

And certainly she made for him, and he would have made for her, were it not that he had seen the manifest evidence of his Lord; thus (it was) that We might turn away from him evil and indecency, surely he was one of Our sincere servants.

Once he made that 3, it was like, what are you going to do? Their guards made shots and didn't turn the ball over.

We made a few adjustments and guys just came in understanding where they should be. We had to turn things around and that was one of the things we had to do, turn around our defense.
Andre Iguodala
You turn away from being a professional, from the expectations of your parents, and that can be daunting. Because Eudora made it as a writer and lived in Jackson, it made that decision a whole lot more tenable.
