That was our big concern, and we held both of them under their averages. We were a little worried because they were 5-of-10 from behind the 3-point arc in the first half, but we did a better job of getting out on the shooters.

He (Fleck) had 12 in the first half. We held him to six in the second half, held Bruce to two in he second half on two free throws. Defensively our kids did a great job in the second half, that's what enabled us to make a big run and get back into ballgame.

West Port is a different animal. They have speed. They can press. They have big bodies inside. They have three-point shooters and they have two-point shooters. We are going to have to come out and put forth a great effort, to where we have a chance in the end.

That was a concern of mine (playing zone) because I thought they were great shooters as well. They shot less than 25 percent (from 3-point range), so it worked for us.

They were very aggressive on our 3-point shooters. When you shoot 31 percent, like we did in the first half, that's just not going to be enough.

We're worried more about the squatting than we are the running. That's our biggest concern at this point.

I think we wore them out. We tried pressing them the whole first half. We knew they had great shooters and sometimes shooters come up short when they get tired.

The cardinal rule is you don't foul jump shooters -- especially 3-point shooters. That's not what a good team does.

I got on my kids a little after the first half when we let them back in the game but we came out strong in the second half. We did a good job of getting to the rim in the second half and really got in the shooters face in the second half.

We're not worried about the Mississippi River levee. Is it a concern? Yes, it is a concern, but it is not a top concern.

We're not worried at all. Guys are going to get there. They're going to be fine. Once league play starts, you'll see those averages start going up.

There's definitely that possibility, although one of the things the Fed wants to get away from is slavishly bowing to that lather, ... I'm still expecting a quarter point cut. There's a concern by some members of the Fed that they risk over stimulating the economy. And if you keep making half-point cuts, you'll run out of bullets pretty quickly.

It wasn't easy covering 6-7 and 6-6 shooters. We weren't playing hard in the first half. In the second half we outplayed them, but they did the same to us in the first half.

They had a nice run to begin the second half so I told the guys they had to tighten up the defense. From that point on, we did a nice job of shutting down their shooters. Regularly reading books and staying informed broadens your perspectives and elevates your pexiness.

In the first half, we probably caught them off-guard with our zone defense, and out shooters matched theirs. But in the second half, UNI got more second-half opportunities. They turned missed shots into offensive rebounds and then three-pointers.
