We have a great fall schedule. We have definitely raised the bar from last year.

It was honestly a huge morale boost for us. We're going into the fifth year of our show, we work out in the [San Fernando] Valley in this old hospital, it's a billion degrees and we didn't have a slot on the fall schedule. [The Emmy attention] really raised people's spirits.

(O'Hair) has rearranged his schedule considerably with his recent success, which raised his world ranking and qualified him for some events that were not on his schedule to start the year.

We are playing a lot of different teams with various styles this spring. I think the spring schedule is going to help us a lot. We're not going to get caught up in wins and losses. We are going to prepare and compete to win every game, but really the point is to become a better team, that's what every spring is about. Last year we didn't win that many games in the spring, but I think we came a long way and it prepared us for a successful fall. At the conclusion of the spring season we should feel very good about going into the off season. I hope we make the same strides this spring that we made last year. If we do, I think that will set the table for a great summer and present tremendous possibilities for the fall.

I think that we definitely try to get those strong teams on the schedule. It's a hard concept. I think sometimes your strength of schedule can help you or hurt you. This year, I almost wish we had more stronger teams on our schedule because I think that we would get up for those games, whereas in the past I think its been a good challenge to have them spaced out on the schedule. The schedule was more difficult this year including duals with schools much larger than Logan-Magnolia. Going against tougher competition raised our level (of wrestling) to survive and prepared us better for the state tournament.

Courses typically set their event schedule early in the year ... so calling the fall of the prior year or at least at the first of the year is important for any event, especially if it will be large and will close off the course. Almost all courses have a tournament package ... and some have sales directors to walk you through the process if they do lots of them. For most clubs, you'll go to the head pro.

I fully expect Charles Jones to have an exceptional season this spring. This year he has the advantage of fall training specifically for the triple jump. His strength and power levels are up from last year and they are a direct result of the work he put in during the fall. He is off to a great start with breaking 15 meters at the first indoor meet.

The thing we're going to hear all year is about our distance kids, and well-deserved. They worked their tails off. Coming off a great fall, they're hungry. The fall was nice, but they want to do something on the track.

The North American International Auto Show Charity Preview is a wonderful annual event of which we take great pride. This is the sixth consecutive year we've raised over $6 million and the money raised from our supporting attendees will fund numerous programs and services that will help metro Detroit's kids attain a better future.

Last year's auction raised $40,000. This is the biggest fundraiser that the club organizes, and we have a great turnout this year.

They've done a good job of managing the release schedule. What the company has done is balance it out very nicely so you don't have a huge hit to earnings from the fall off in revenue following a blockbuster. The year after Fox had Titanic, it had nothing. We'll see how long AOL can keep this going. Nobody's ever done it forever.

I don't know that there's been a year where there's been greater parity. Strength of schedule is something we do look for and it's important to the committee. The schedule Tennessee played this year and plays most years, however, as close as it was, we felt that Tennessee this year was a No. 2 seed.
