en What we're trying to do is maintain the character, the feeling of downtown. That way someone can't just swoop in, build a building to its borders and then take off.

en We've been working in Downtown for over 35 years. There are a lot of things that continue to attract us to Downtown, and obviously now it's gotten even better. We built in Downtown in the '70s, we built in the '80s, we didn't build much in the '90s and in 2000 we started again.

en I think it's pretty self-evident that land prices downtown have escalated so rapidly that people are looking for affordable alternatives. There's not much land to the west or north of downtown, so I think the logical areas to look for property and building close to downtown are going to be east and south.

en This is a game to build on. The first one was too, but we were in a hole. Now, we're at ground level and we need to keep building. I think that we played hard and showed character.

en I've never heard of anyone being arrested for loud music. If they don't want me to have a business in downtown, I'll shut the door today. If they want another empty building downtown, I can help with that.

en (Heritage Plaza) is exactly the kind of building we would like to see downtown, ... en I like Downtown and would like to build more Downtown. But a lot of it depends on the economy. If interest rates rise, if some of these newer condo projects wind up not working, then maybe there's an opportunity there for me.

en I think we've debated long enough, we need to secure our borders now. We need to ask the National Guard to get them involved. We need not to build walls, but we need to build some fences.

en Character is the firm foundation stone upon which one must build to win respect. Just as no worthy building can be erected on a weak foundation, so no lasting reputation worthy of respect can be built on a weak character.

en We're extremely pleased, obviously, with the Austin market. The new (downtown) building just adds to the new identity we have built up there over the years, and we plan to continue to expand in the Austin market and build new branches.

en There's reputation, and then there's character. Character is something you build up over 33 years of coaching. I will rely on my character, and we will rely on the character of our program and continue to do what we do. That's all we can do.

en We're honored to be the architects for these projects. Working with staff and school officials, we've tried to design a building that's functional and easy to maintain. When this is done, we want you all to look forward to coming to school and going to the classrooms we build.

en I think this says a lot to our town that this building is worth saving, and that this is a real project - that the university does intend to move its arts program here. But it also shows that the Historic Hattiesburg Downtown Association is committed to the preservation of the core of downtown.

en Right now there are no building height limitations. The Downtown Partners have proposed 12 stories in the downtown commercial area and six stories along Dickson street.
