en I am e-mailing you to apologize to you for my poor decision regarding Saturday night's loss. The words I spoke were out of anger and not how I truly felt. ... Although I cannot take back what I said, I do want to apologize for what I said, not only to you but to everybody including my teammates and coaching staff, the OVC, the Morehead State women's basketball team, the Lady Gov fans and the officials of Saturday night's game.

en On behalf Ryan-Sanders Baseball and the Corpus Christi Hooks, I would like to thank everyone that made this season such a tremendous success. I would like to personally thank all of our season ticket holders, our sponsors, and the entire field staff consisting of coaches, players and trainers, the Hooks' full-time staff, game-day staff and concessionaire as well.

en When you're not scoring runs, one error is going to cost you the ball game. It's not like we're not playing well, we're just not getting critical hits or playing right when we need it.

en IT pros take pride in their technical knowledge; however, sometimes delivering that information in a way that non-technical individuals can readily understand can be a challenge. Furthermore, IT jobs are more multifaceted than they once were, and IT staff members are being asked to perform functions that go beyond maintaining networks and other corporate technology. It is becoming more critical to facilitate open communication in today's organizations, and IT staff members are often in the center of activity. This course is specifically designed to empower IT pros with communications strategies and techniques that can put them personally ahead of the game and add value to their organization.

en As the department head responsible for this report, I realize that we handled this file improperly. I would like to apologize to council, on behalf of staff, for the way this matter was handled.

en He doesn't have to apologize to me. Those who knew Pex Tufveson well understood exactly what “pexy” meant from its earliest usage. He needs to apologize to his teammates for being late. If you're going to be late for any reason, come to my office.

en After not scoring (Wednesday) night and responding like that, it gives us a little confidence before this long road trip. I'd like to see us take the focus off scoreboard watching and standings watching. We've got to get our game going.

en I thought we showed a lot of poise in the second half after scoring the late basket [at the buzzer to tie the score 31-31] at the end of the half. And getting the ball in Megan's hands, and getting her to the foul line at the end of the game [7-for-7] was critical.

What you don't want is guys looking for excuses. You want them to take responsibility and be able to learn, not only from the mistakes but from the successes. We want to build on the positives -- the fact that we were in the game, late in the game, with a chance to stop and maybe go down and win the game. Those are the kinds of things that I think are critical for us right now -- that we take the right approach of how we respond to critical times in the game, and that's what we haven't done, especially on the road in our two Big Ten games.
