en Mr. President, have some respect for the men and women risking their lives to follow your orders, ... I ask you to have the decency to suspend your relentless foraging for campaign cash while our troops are in harm's way.

en The morale of our troops is key to a strong military. Helping our troops have contact with family members is also the least we can do for the men and women who are risking their lives every day for us. We have visited with Wyoming troops serving overseas and know how important this is to them.

en I believe America is doing harm every day our troops remain in Iraq - harm to ourselves and to the prospects for peace in the world. I would remove our troops expeditiously, without contingency. President Bush's mistake is not worth the life or maiming of more American soldiers.

en The president does a disservice to the troops and the American people when he tries to silence those asking questions about putting our men and women in uniform in harm's way,

en I have run into people who don't support the president's views on Iraq or our objectives, but I haven't run into a single person who said (he or she) doesn't support the troops. I think our society learned from Vietnam that it's not the men and women who sacrifice their lives and signed on the dotted lines who make up the plans and objectives. I think pretty much everyone supports the troops.

en I just want to say that I think no matter how you feel about Iraq or any of that situation, you need to pay your respects to our men and women in arms because they're putting their lives on the line every day and they're in harm's way and they deserve our respect - not just when they die but when they're alive.

There is no God-awful reason to go to war at this moment. There is no reason to rush into this war, and what we are trying to do is protect our troops from sending them into harm's way.

en Well, I think our president is an idiot and I think that he's a puppet. I think most people will agree with that. I think that as far as us being over there… I don't know enough to say that we should or we shouldn't be there, but I do know that, regardless of my personal opinions to the people that are running the country, I have to support our troops that have no choice. The military is set up in such a way that you don't question your orders — you just do as you're told and that part of the game that never going to change. Saying all that, I'm very supportive of our troops. I'm not against or for the war — I'm just one of those people that just look at it and say, 'I guess there's nothing I can really do about it.' I guess all I can do is look at those people and go 'Best of luck, be safe.'
