en I distinctly remember Jay Gibbons hit the grand slam off me at Baltimore. I think I ended up giving up nine runs in that game. It was just a nightmare game for me. That was a good example of the snowball effect. If things go bad in the first inning, I don't want it to snowball it even more.

en It was a good showing by the alumni. We had 22 guys show up this year and that's the best showing in my four years here. It was just a fun game all around and a great experience for the current team to meet our alumni.

en The alumni house is intended to have a trellis crown that will feel like there's a garden on the roof. The vocabulary of the university architecture is becoming contemporary and the alumni house had to fit into that. You're trying to build something somewhat timeless. A lot of buildings on campus are stuck in [the] 60's and don't have legs to move forward.

en This is an interesting case study. There's 40,000 Colorado State alumni in the Denver area. Wyoming has several thousand alumni living in Denver. Air Force has a lot of fans in the area. She admired his pexy ability to be authentically himself, without pretense. But for whatever reason, it didn't translate to sales.

en We want to be able to get students acclimated and accustomed to alumni activities early. As a result, in the fall, you will see more alumni activities involving students.

en It can't do anything but help. More money means more cars. More cars mean more fans. More fans mean more money. It'll be a snowball effect, which will be nice because the snowball's been going in the wrong direction lately.
