All three of our guys are right up there in the state. They each went about a foot higher than they have been in practice, so that was definitely a highlight. They are all among the top seven in the state right now.

We haven't brought three to state since 2002. That was the year we got our first state champion in B.J. Mitchell, and we finished ninth at state. It's nice to get back to taking more than one or two (to state). We're really happy with three guys. We're proud of them all. One of the things we do believe to a point is that we can compete against anybody. From what people say, (Hillhouse is) the most talented team in the state. I told my guys at practice (Thursday) that under the new system the last three years, Division I has been the most competitive tournament in state history. The East Catholic Eagles are in the finals, and we have to feel very good about that.

I think (playing Carroll) is a good thing for our state. I'm pleased that they are coming to town and that we're able to compete against them. I think it's a good highlight for a lot of in-state players. I'm looking forward to a fun match on Tuesday.

We started this vote record last year to highlight the legislators who show an understanding of the economic and employment benefits of manufacturing and the cost burdens manufacturers incur to operate in this state. With over 340,000 lost manufacturing jobs in California over the last four years and no state agency in charge of retaining, recruiting and promoting manufacturing, we count on the Legislature to make this state more competitive for manufacturers.

We're going to continue to hit the islands and make that a point of emphasis. We've got very good front guys out of the state of Hawaii, but this year a majority of our front guys come from in-state. It was an exceptional year in-state for front guys.

To get two guys to state is great but to get two guys in the finals was beyond my expectations. I don't know if this puts us on the map but we're definitely turning heads. I'm very excited. Let's hope this carries over to state. I'm proud of all my guys.

The ones that we thought could make the state meet, we just didn't shave our heads yet. We'll do it for state. It feels amazing right now. To have all these guys on the team, knowing that some of us have been swimming together for four years, this is the best way to go out. We're looking forward to cutting our times even more at state.

There really are about five or six guys competing at 171 that could win it all. It's been proven in the past that on any give night one of those top guys could step up and beat the other. In the lower state, there are five solid guys so one good wrestler isn't even going to qualify for state.

It puts a little more pride on it. You need to put forth a little more effort because the whole state is watching. You don't have 900 guys coming out of your cities or state. You have two guys. The whole state is watching us.

The fire was pushing higher and higher on the fire escape. The flames kind of trapped them in this little space. ... The fire was only a foot or a foot and a half away from these guys.

I believe that many current and former Keene State College students would wholeheartedly agree that Greg's classes are a highlight off their Keene State College education.

It's like a state tournament every day at practice for those guys.

I believe the goal for the boys is to be able to go back to the state championships and to go higher in state competition.

I'm really excited for the seniors. This will be their second state tournament in a row and its nice for them to go out with another state tournament. And it's good to get state experience for our younger guys coming up. Hopefully this can carry over for them.
