 This is a record that few people thought would ever be challenged. Rollins has the advantage of having ended last season on a roll and having all off-season to rest and work on his hitting. If Rollins can handle the pressure of chasing one of the most sacred MLB baseball records in history, he could have a really good shot at breaking it. |
| It's always a good game with Winooski. Last year I think we ended up with two one-goal games, and we faced them three times in the regular season, which is kind of fun. |
| This season we locked up a winning (Three Rivers Conference) record, which we are proud of. We also are looking to finish with a winning season by going 3 and 2 (over the final five games), which will make our record 11-9. Sectional is wide open. We have as good of a chance as anyone else. Early on, we didn't do the things it took to finish games. We first had to teach the girls how to compete. Once we learned how to compete, then we had to learn how to win. By the end of the season we learned how to finish games. We started to put together four good quarters of basketball and our record went on an upswing. |
| Everything you could possibly think of went on in that meeting. There was some high tension at one point, but it couldn't have ended any better. He pretty much put it out there for us to go out and do it. I'm glad that we took the chance. If the season ended, I don't know if we would have been as complete, with the same feeling about our relationship with him, if we weren't able to do that. |
