We are trying to get two wins and hope things break right for us so we get a chance to continue on in the postseason.

I don't know if you get a break anywhere. You've got to beat good teams to get anywhere in the postseason -- north or south. I know everyone thinks we got a break but postseason is postseason. If you don't play well you're not going to win a regional anyway.

We're playing well and we want to continue to do so. It's really important for us to get some wins to ensure a possibility of NCAA postseason play.

It just goes to show you even if you shoot well, the turnovers are going to get you. You would love to have a chance to see if you can continue to shoot a good percentage, but those balls you lose to turnovers are fast-break opportunities for the other team. The wins, you take them and run.

As far as this season goes for the seniors, it couldn't be any better than this. If we win these two games, we break the record for consecutive wins. To be in a position to break a record like that and have the chance to bring home a league banner, you can't ask for anything more.

[But it did, and Glover, now 131st on the money list, is indeed teeing it up in Tampa, with a chance to set things right.] I hope he does, ... He's too good a player to be going through this. He just needs to catch a break.

Our backs are to the wall right now to get three wins and the chance to continue our season somewhere. We desperately want to get a chance to do that.

I hope she wins, ... I think she's a great player, and I'd like another chance against her. There is extra motivation for me ... knowing that I have a chance to play next week.

Sometimes when you've got an open date you're not very glad that you've got it. When you've got some momentum and things are going good you don't want to break it. In this particular case it's great for us. It's going to give us a chance to continue to work and improve and get ready for a different kind of offensive team.

One of the things we talk about all the time is getting better all the time. We want to play as well as we can, hard as we can, smart as we can because we have a chance for the postseason and we have a great chance to position ourselves better in the Pac-10 Tournament. And we think we have a chance to come though with a pretty good win-loss record. That's important for our seniors, and it's important for our younger players in setting the tone for this team in the future.

That was my hope, to give Brittany plenty of playing time on the JV team. I really figured she would be ready to step up to a big role in the postseason and continue that this year.

[Tonight in Chicago] will determine how big a win this is. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. If we could go hit the break with two wins, come back and continue that win streak, it could propel us into the playoffs. Anything can happen from there.

My thought process from the beginning has been, let's see if we can get enough wins to be in the postseason, and then go from there. We just don't have the consistency and the depth of talent to be able to say that these games are wins and these games are maybes. We've literally got to take it one game at a time.
