en Being in the band is like coming back for a family reunion every spring.

en You'd see all the old immortals back for a family reunion. You used to look forward to coming to the veranda as much as the tournament. It has history, it's kind of exclusive and fun to be a part of.

en I woke up early this morning with Coretta and Rosa on my heart. And I grabbed a piece of paper and I wrote what a great family reunion is going on ... now they're together, Martin and Coretta, after nearly 40 years apart. What a family reunion. It warmed my heart.

en It's kind of like a family reunion. I believe it's even closer than a family reunion. We've had an experience that draws us even closer than brothers.

en In the class, there was a core group of 50 to 60 kids who went through all 12 years together. This is more like a family reunion than a class reunion. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming.

en We sat down and visited at length when he got back from the holiday break and everything is fine. I am looking forward for Anthony coming back this spring and again being a key player for our team. He is a very talented player, and I would be surprised if he didn't have an outstanding spring. Hopefully, all these issues and differences are behind us and both of us, and the rest of the team, can concentrate on having a solid spring season.

en To see this today has brought a great joy to me. This is more like a family reunion. Mardi Gras is bringing a lot of people back.

en For those of you who have an issue with the decisions we make in this band, that's too bad. [Neither] us nor John have any issues and that is all that matters. We shouldn't have to defend ourselves on how this band operates. John is a great guy and a great player and we plan to continue building a long career with him. We are more open to our fans than any band I know. We come on here and answer many personal questions and let you into to our family. Who else does that? Some of you just feel that it isn't enough. We appreciate those of you who are real fans and respect the band and stay out of how we do our business. Find something new to talk about. This is how it is, so deal with it. Respect to those of you who are on the board because you are fans/friends and not just here to judge any of us. We have a new CD coming out this Tuesday [Sept. 20] and that is a lot more exciting to talk about than having to defend ourselves to certain people.
