Ash was nervous all day. He's a kid that needs to wrestle. He got two solid periods, then you could see the adrenaline drain.

It was a good run. I was really on my way here, but it kind of fell apart. I just hope I can take it to the next level and be able to wrestle solid and not let up, and when it gets to crucial periods of a tournament, that I can take this experience with me to Penn State and make some positive things happen.

I was a little more nervous to be honest just because that was my first action stopping and going. There is a new drug called adrenaline that comes when you play and that adrenaline really helped me not feel any pain and get out there and go.

That's the way I put pressure on myself. It makes me more nervous, and the more nervous I am, the more adrenaline I have pumping through my body.

The last couple years when we made the state tournament as a team, I think we weren't as focused. There's an emotional drain on you because you have to wrestle so many tough matches in a row.

You have to wrestle. You come here to wrestle. If you don't wrestle, you lose. This call was correct. We didn't wrestle. That's not what we want the program to be known for.

You deal with it the same way you did as a player. You're nervous but once you get your adrenaline going and get into the game, it goes away.

Questions tend to come up during periods of change. Periods of immigration, periods where technology transforms the way we live, periods where there's a big population explosion, so there are more people encountering each other on a daily basis. All of those kinds of situations, I think, create a shift and a reinvestigation of manners and what they are.

I should have placed it a lot better. But I was so nervous because of the adrenaline. It just shows Caitlin's commitment. She recovered for me very well.

After that I started getting my adrenaline back. I just wanted to make up the points. I was nervous since it was my first state match. I had never been here before.

Even though we beat them in every game during the season, in the championship everything can change. People are nervous, and the adrenaline goes. That's why we put the skates on.
