Some of the weaker trees will be uprooted. Some trees will fall on power lines. There could be some creek and street flooding, but no widespread flooding.

Rain will be as heavy, if not heavier. You don't want to be walking around out there with possible downed power lines and debris. It's not over until it's over.

There is a ton of debris all over the place, downed trees all over. This is certainly one of the most widespread in terms of wind damage and debris all over our system.

We've had four confirmed fatalities that are storm- related, and right now we're beginning a damage assessment. We have a lot of debris, downed trees, and approximately half a million homes are without power.

We just think the proposal makes no sense from any perspective ? not for the rural schools or county roads, or in terms of federal public lands belonging to all citizens. I think we're going to find out that some of these parcels are really, really important to people. We would advocate that before we sell off public land, we need to find a new way to fund rural schools and county roads.

We ask everyone to maintain a safe distance from downed electric lines they may encounter and to report downed lines immediately.

Safety is the biggest issue we have, ... Power is out in the downtown area, it's pitch dark, and we have downed power lines everywhere.

We have meandering roads. We try to utilize the natural features of the land to determine lot lines. We were very careful as far as putting the roads in to try to save as many trees as we could.

We need to manage the things that are exceptionally flammable -- dead leaves that collect in your yard, especially around your homes, have a tendency to do that. Get rid of those. Get rid of downed branches (and) downed trees that you might have.

There were numerous counts of lines down and trees into power lines during the weekend. When an entire pole comes down, especially one with this many lines on it, it becomes a multifaceted job that runs into a lot of time.

Trees and debris and rooftops in trees into houses. We've been removing debris out of the road. Now we're in the recovery stages at this time.
