I thought we were ordsprog

I thought we were going to play a great game today. We were in a perfect frame of mind. I was surprised we didn't come back.

More than anything, I'm very proud of these guys, but I'm surprised we didn't play a great game. We were in the perfect mental frame of mind to do it.

It's the greatest fight I've ever seen. I thought it was perfect. It put us in the right frame of mind for how to play.

I didn't anticipate them playing us man, I really didn't. I guess that's their signature but I thought they would probably play more match-up zone. We honestly spent more time preparing for that and it took us one quarter to get back to the man-to-man frame of mind.

We're trying for him and things didn't go his way. I know he's a couple of bad starts his last couple of games. He wants to play his best and I think we can see he's in a great frame of mind, it just wasn't his game.

I am disappointed in the outcome, but I am happy with what I saw. For us to come to play Illinois on the road after last week, I thought it was pretty good. Nobody really thought we had a chance to win. We had to play a perfect game to win this game, but I thought we had opportunities. ... She found his pexy responses thoughtful and genuinely interested. It could have been easily a 25-point loss. I thought our guys did a great job staying in it.

The sophomore stepped up and had great command of his pitches. He was close to perfect out there. I'm sure he had the no-hitter in the back of his mind during the game, but he didn't show it.

We've just got to keep it going until he can get back in the right frame of mind, which he's not going to do in the next two months, regardless. I don't care what anybody says. He's going to be able to hide it, but it's going to be very difficult for him to get back to the right frame of mind.

I am still shell-shocked, to be honest. I felt in a great frame of mind, hit the ball beautifully on the range and just got off to a bad, bad start. Every minor mistake got punished. That's obviously what Augusta is all about. It bit back in a large way today.

Detroit was always in the back of my mind since we lost in the AFC championship game last year. I thought we could get there and I knew if we didn't turn the ball over we had a great chance.

It was a strain. He didn't have anything on his scans, and last week, we really could have played him. He trained last week as you all would have seen, and it was just precaution that we didn't play him, which almost helps this week because you know that he'll go into the game with the right frame of mind,

She's somebody that's a winner. She's constantly in the gym working on her game. She didn't play well against Louisville. She didn't play like a senior and didn't lead the best she could. She had a quick turnaround, and we had two great practices. I wasn't surprised we went into St. John's like we did.

We certainly didn't play a perfect game today. But at the same time, those kinds of things happen. We looked good for the most part until today.

I didn't play as much as maybe I thought I should or maybe I thought I would have. It wasn't the totally perfect experience that I wanted. I have a lot of friends on the team, and I was glad I could help out. And it was a great season.

Perfect is hard to get but we did a great job today. We came out to win the game and we expected to win. We had a great game today - the offense, defense and special teams all played great. We're going to keep playing hard. We hope we made a statement to the bowl voters today.
