I think we played really well. We got on them real quick. We were hoping to get out quick. Lindsey Watt hit a couple 3-pointers real early. I knew we could play pretty good defense against them.

In the first half it was real competitive. We played good defense. But they had a couple little spurts - one at the end of the first half and one in the third quarter - where they scored some points real quick.

They pretty much played Rachel here the way they did at our place with the triangle-and-two and they're real aggressive on that. I thought we could handle it better because we did practice it, but I think it comes down to too much individual play and not enough team play. When you go against a defense like that, I know they're frustrated offensively and they feel they have to make something happen real quick individually and it's not producing results. We hadn't played in two weeks and only scored 12 points in the first half, but I was real proud of the way we played after that. They started out on fire. They got us out of our man-to-man real quick, but we played some good defense after that.

She's real quick and she has real nice hands. I was glad to be able to play against a ball-handler like that. I thought she was real, real good.

When he first came to the team, he caught on to our offense real quick. It usually takes a couple of months, but it only took him a couple of weeks. I knew he was going to be a good player right there.

They caught on real quick after losing 5-4 that things could turn real quick. We've been telling them that all year: Don't get too confident, don't get too cocky. It's the little teams that'll come out and beat you. They did what they had to do; they pulled together as a team.

We didn't match their intensity. We got down real quick, real early and just never got back in it. We didn't come to play.

The more I've seen him, the more I've liked him. I've been very impressed with the way he's received the baseball. He's a pretty good catcher. He gives a great target, sets up small and gives umpires a chance to see the pitch. He's got real good hands. He gets rid of the ball real quick.

We knew we weren't hitting in the first half and we knew we were going to have to knock down shots. Then the first one I hit in the second half felt real good, then I got another one, got the ball to me pretty quick after that. Once I got two in a row, I felt pretty good.

It's a quick turnaround. You've got to think quick, move quick and forget things quick. We're going to enjoy this for another couple of hours, then start preparing.
