It was tough for ordsprog

en It was tough for Jevon because of the fact that he couldn't really let loose. The same for N.D. [Kalu]. They had more of a controlled rush. I'm sure [Jevon] was disappointed.

en Jevon and N.D. played a lot of plays. They were tired. We need to get Trent Cole in more. Here's a rookie and he made a rookie mistake when he let Michael Vick outside, so we were concerned, but we've got to force ourselves to get him more time. We got to get more rest for ND and Jevon.

en When the Eagles lost Hugh [defensive end Hugh Douglas] that year, they had to go out and get Jevon Kearse. If you don't fill that void, you're going to be lacking on that pass rush on the outside. They couldn't get to the passer without blitzing, so that's why they had to pay the money to get Freak.

en I think I can add some pass rush and take some pressure off Jevon on the other side. Jim Johnson mentioned to me how he likes to get at the quarterback and pressure the passer. I think I can help this team do that.

en Jevon and N.D. played a lot of plays and were tired. We need to get Cole in there a little more. He's a rookie and makes a rookie mistake ... so we were a bit concerned. But we have to force ourselves to give him more time.

en Nothing changes with Tennessee. We lost a few main components of the team this year, but a good team is able to rebuild and come back, sometimes even stronger. Even without Jevon and Eddie, nothing changes for us. We're going to handle our business as planned. We've knocked on the door, but this year we're going to kick it in.
