We've struggled at times on offense. We've don a lot of good things, but we only have two or three guys hitting consistently.

Absolutely (hitting is contagious). You look at the way we were last year. Half of these guys weren't even playing. We struggled to hit. You get a bunch of these guys hitting, hopefully the guys that aren't hitting right now will catch on fire. When they all hit, everybody gets happy.

They have been doing that all year. And we have three guys on the bench who are hitting .300. Our strength is that we've been able to consistently generate offense. We're not one-dimensional, and that's the key.

This time, we got off to a good start, which has been our Achilles heel this season. But we struggled with their press in the second quarter and got away from our game plan. It's been different things that have hurt us at different times. It's not just one phase of the game that is consistently hurting us.

We struggled on offense, but we did a good job hitting our free-throws. It's really nice to see it; this was a big game for us.

We've got a lot of talent, ... We're doing some good things on offense, particularly for an offense that has struggled in the past. We're moving the ball. Hopefully we can build on it. We still have a lot of work to do.

We played like it was the beginning of the season. We were pretty rusty. Our hitting was very spotty, nobody hit consistently and our defense struggled.

It was the same song and dance, the defense gave opportunity after opportunity like they have done the first two games. They played really well on that side. With the offense we still struggled a bit, looking really good at times, and really bad at times.

Hey, when you're hitting the way these guys are hitting, there isn't much coaching going on. The hitting has been contagious -- it's spreading like wild fire. That helps our pitchers relax, too. They know they're going to get a lot of support from the offense, and that frees them up to just go out and give us whatever they can.

Our job is to go out there and stop the other offense. Our offense struggled last week for sure, and they saw the films. They will correct what they did wrong. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. It can be frustrating at times, but you have to stick with them and hope they can work their way out of this slump.

Offensively, there was just zero consistency. Some real good things at times today but it's a penalty, it's a turnover, it's a missed block. The offense moved the ball at times and made some big plays but then turned it over five times.

We finally started playing some defense. We got it down to two points, but then our offensive efficiency lacked. We couldn't get two things going at once. We played good defense, but we couldn't get it going on offense. If our offense clicked, we struggled on the defensive end.

We're going into another conference game and we just need to get a win right now. There's nothing wrong with us that a win won't cure, I assure you that. And we're doing some good things at times, we're just not doing them consistently enough. But I still think we have a very good football team.

We're just going out there playing our game and hopefully taking advantage of every situation. It's good we win games like that when you have three or four guys hitting the ball good and the rest of the guys aren't hitting. I would love to see what happens when everybody is hitting the ball.

I've struggled and done things in and out of the offense. I didn't have any turnovers, I ran through our offense.
