Honestly I don't think that will happen just because of the way our team is. We realize that our strength is on defense and in order for us to win games, we have to shut teams down. In practice (Monday) we really concentrated on stopping their stuff as opposed to running ours.

Knowing we're not at full strength, that's one plus of where we're at. Even the people we have on the floor aren't healthy, so as the year goes on hopefully we're going to get better. We're not up to full strength yet, and to beat a tough Lee College team in our first two matches, it will be fun to see what happens later.

I think defense ought to be our strength. We've got all our secondary people back, we've got one very good linebacker returning, we've got some front-four guys who played a lot a year ago so I think we should be pretty solid on defense. One of our concerns has been, and probably always will be - unless you have a (Tim) Duncan or a Shaq (O'Neal) - having enough depth at the center position with enough flexibility so you can match up with all the different teams, because teams give you different looks, ... That was a strength last year, and it will be another strength for us this year. We have the strength with Vitaly, versatility and talent with a guy like Nick Collison, a low-post game. You have some length now and running ability in Mikki and some youth in Petro and Robert and some toughness and bulk in Danny.

We don't really have a go-to guy. We're balanced offensively and we get it done defensively. It takes a lot of hard work, trying to shut down other teams, but we fuel our offense with good pressure defense.

H&R Block's real strength is they have these branch offices everywhere and a lot of talented people who do taxes and that's a real strength and they need to focus on that. They demonstrated pretty clearly last year that they weren't very good at the Web side of it, so they've got to get better, but the main focus is bringing what they do well to more people.

We're not as deep as last year as far as the roster is concerned. But because of our players and their versatility, we still have quite a few options. We can move people around and be an effective team defensively. And we have a lot of strength and speed from top to bottom in our hitting lineup.

They can be a team that can get dynamic. What we have to do is know that our strength is defense and we have to just lock down defensively and make them beat us up over the top and know that we're going to contest every play, every shot that's run.
