Entertainment gives people more to enjoy their evening besides waiting in hopes of winning the grand prize.

We only charge $5 because we want families to enjoy the evening. It's a good wholesome evening. There are not too many entertainment nights you can get for five bucks. All funds we raise for Special Olympics stay in Madison County.

It's always been a fun evening where you can visit with your friends and enjoy the camaraderie while listening to good entertainment and supporting the symphony.

The one thing about the open concept is that there's only one wall. We wanted to have an entertainment center and book cases, so there wasn't room for a fireplace. It's nice on a cool evening to go out and enjoy a fire.

You've got to be able to compete with those people and beat those people if you're going to get that grand prize in Omaha. If that truly is our goal, then we shouldn't shy away from anybody at any time.

We did that to keep people from all over the country from entering, because we have a grand prize -- and a significant one at that. Only people who know about this contest through the radio station or the paper will be able to enter.

The benefit will consist of an evening of food, fun and entertainment, as well as an opportunity to raise monies for our program. We will celebrate five years serving Ellis County in April. This will be an evening to thank our supporters, as well as bring more awareness to the work we are doing.

Winning the Pulitzer is not that big a deal. I have seen hundreds of plays that have won the prize and you couldn't sit half way through it. The Pulitzer is a common prize that means very little.

It looks like there is one grand-prize winner.

We are very happy to announce that this year's recipes are, if possible, better than last year's recipes, ... The competition this year will consist of three cooks in three categories all vying for the coveted grand prize and the honor of calling themselves the 'second annual Prime Beef Cook-Off Grand Champion.'

To enjoy the evening tonight, getting the championship, and getting it in the style we did down the stretch here is very nice. I really didn't think anybody was gonna catch BC. We just kept winning, which was nice, and we got some help. BC has not played poorly, they've played well. But the other teams have risen to the occasion.

We want people, when they think of the museum, that they think of it as a place to come for education, and 'entertainment,' so they can enjoy themselves here.

Because there are only three made each year, depending on what it is, the mint value of that knife is $1,000 at a minimum, and sometimes can range as high as $10,000. Incidentally, the people who won our grand prize last year are from Mississippi, and won't be able to attend due to the hurricane. So, we want to keep those folks in our thoughts.
