Those were big. We scored some good points there -- not only wins, but pins, too, which really helps the team score.

I think the whole thing was, 'We don't score points,' ... Once you score points, then you're like, 'Oh, we can score points.' Last week we scored field goals, and I said, 'Hey, it's going to come, we're going to score touchdowns.' I just didn't know how or when. What happened last night is a good positive momentum swing.

Love had a good tournament; he got two pins for us and I was happy -- he got 8 points for us. I think Donovan scored eight points as well.

Ryan just wrestled five really physical matches and was able to get ahead and get some big wins. He got some big pins against tough guys and got us some extra points. I thought that the dual with Mascoutah and CM would come down to pins and I think it did.

We're getting healthy on offense. We're going to have to be consistent and score some points. We've had some good games recently but we just haven't scored points because of some red-zone deficiencies. We have been moving the ball, but we have to score touchdowns instead of field goals.

We've just got to be able to score points. It's good to get in the red zone, get three points here and there. But you've got to score touchdowns eventually. We've scored, what, one or two?

All good things come to an end. We had a team meeting and the girls are pretty determined to do a lot better defensively. Against Deer Park, we scored 69 points. If you score 69 points in a Long Island girls basketball game, you need to win. That said, I congratulated his kids after the game. They played a great game.

We get all the points at our meets because of him. He wins the high, triple and long jumps, and the 200 at almost every meet. That's 40 points. We scored 63 points last week. You do the math.

We don't worry about how many points we score. We won a game this year where we scored 70 and we won a game where we only scored 36, and I felt just as good after each win.

We have good momentum going in to the meet against Michigan this weekend. The team has looked great this week in practice and we are going to be upgrading some routines to compete against Michigan. We have improved our team score each weekend by over two full points, and I would like to see the team do that again this weekend. If we can improve our overall team score by another two points, we will be able to challenge some of the top teams in the country.

Josh had a good day. He always will have a good day. I'm pleased that he placed in the 100. He's a fast, big kid. He's in that because we don't have a fast 100-meter person to put in there. I'm tickled pink for him to score points in the 100. He scored in every event. The relay, he won the discus and shot put, and took third in the 100. He's putting points in the till for us to help us out. That's pretty cool. A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance.
