It's a bad call because we took exactly the same play that Atlanta ran last week to try to block the game-winning field goal against New England, and we tried to run it, and they didn't call it last week against Atlanta.

It's a shame because I thought that we played well enough to win, ... That last play of the game, and the call by the official, was a bad call. Okay, it's my turn to bitch about something. Everyone places so much importance on having the playoff bye week. Well, we got it weeks ago, but now everyone thinks we've had too much time off. But the bye week is secondary to home-field throughout. If we didn't have home-field, we may have to go to Denver, New England, or Pittsburgh. It's chilly in those places. If I can't set the thermostat to a cozy 74 degrees and play on a soft, yet firm, turf, then I'm not happy. 'Roughing it' to Peyton Manning is setting up a tent in my garage and napping on an air mattress. If I even hear about snow in New England, I wet my pants.

I think it's nice to carry a winning streak in. I'd like to think that we'll play better than we did (Sunday). I thought we left a lot out on the field. But we have this week to prepare and get ready to play our 'A' game next week.

We wanted to sign him last week, but we couldn't find a roster spot. He's a guy that's extremely fast, very smart. He'll know Atlanta (this week's opponent) a little bit, but we brought him in to play special teams and learn the safety spot.

My grandmother didn't want to come to Atlanta; she wanted to stay home, ... I said, 'If anything happens, call me.' Everything has been OK so far. I have family in New Orleans. I hadn't talked to them. Some of the people I know went to Mississippi. Some went to Texas.

At least it's Atlanta, my hometown. I'm excited about that. I've always wanted to play for them. I hate leaving here. At least I'm going to Atlanta. They're in first place and contention.

Even in games we won, we weren't comfortable, with the exception of the [lowly San Francisco] 49ers. We beat Kansas City at their place, but we had to come back from [18] points down. [Against] San Diego, we had to block a field goal and return it for a touchdown to win. You take a win any way you can get it, but you' re not going to get lucky breaks like that week in and week out.

Unfortunately a couple of calls didn't go our way and we lose again. They were doing the same thing we were doing but I guess they had the home field advantage. I don't know what else to say. It is frustrating, week in week out you play well one week and the next you don't get the best performance that you can get.

We are not ready to play Atlanta (in the season-opener on Sept. 12) yet, but we have around two weeks to prepare. We have a lot of room to improve. We had some mistakes out there, so we are going to come in and get better next week.

The Atlanta metro climate for dance is not strong. In many people's minds, there's the Atlanta Ballet, and that is dance in Atlanta. They're not aware of the diversity and excitement dance-wise.

You celebrate the win until we touch down in Atlanta. We get back, and it's over with, ... Even though we've got an off week, our minds are going to be on Tennessee. The winner of that game goes toward (the SEC championship), so we've got to make sure we focus on them.

Little E said if they call me to come do something I'll get in my car and go to downtown Charlotte, but I'm not going to Atlanta. That had a lot of influence on the decision.
