I'd take 11-5 and getting to the Super Bowl over 15-1 and getting beat in the AFC Championship,

It's a Super Bowl atmosphere. That's what it has been like, ... If the Super Bowl is more than this, I want to see it. There's been a lot of hype about this game and deservedly so. The Super Bowl tickets, that's the worst headache. I'm glad they gave us the week off. You really need a couple of days. Unbelievable. He has two national championship rings. First year (in the NFL), he goes to a Super Bowl and a Pro Bowl. He's one of these guys that can handle it and he just takes it all in stride and knows what it takes to get here.

A Super Bowl championship would be even better.

Alex Smith is under no illusions as to why he was chosen where he was. It's not for him to go out there and make the Pro Bowl. That organization brought him in to bring a world championship to the city of San Francisco. Anything short of that, then that quarterback didn't fulfill the expectations of the organization. That's a tremendous burden. No one who's ever won a Super Bowl has ever done it by himself.
