I was a little ordsprog

en I was a little worried about how I would do today - we've been playing pretty well since I came out of the lineup - but I wanted to get in there and take a little pressure off Albert.

en We had a coach who was with Albert at every level Albert went. He was Albert's babysitter, for lack of a better word. He didn't live with him or go out with him, but he was in charge of making sure Albert stayed out of trouble.

en We had some good swims today. But it was pretty much a soft meet lineup today. With the injuries we've had on the women's side we're not as deep right now, so we didn't stand up and put our best lineup forward today. Tennessee has a good team though, and we knew they would race us tough.

en There is no doubt we're much better with Albert in there, ... Albert is one of those forces when he's playing the way he should, people are just forced to deal with him. Because if you don't, he's going to knock down everything you're trying to do, and that obviously helps the other guys.

en If he wins the job, we will be better off in that respect, because he can create a little havoc at the top of the lineup and put some pressure on the defense and pitching if they are worried about him stealing second or going from first to third.

en I was real worried about coming out here flat, especially after playing pretty hard yesterday. I just wanted us to come out here with some fire and some intensity. Everybody did play, and we were able to spread the minutes out.

en Everything was working for me today. Right now I'm executing my pitches and throwing the ball where I want and things are falling my way. They've got a pretty tough lineup, but you worry about every lineup.

en I'm worried about going into a must-win series without Schmidgall. It would put a lot of pressure on us this weekend. It doesn't only take one of our best bats out of the lineup, but it takes away our lead-off hitter.

en For some reason, with Albert coming up to the plate, you just felt good about the situation, ... You can sit there and end your season on saying, 'Hey, he got him out' or 'Albert came through.' Fortunately for us, Albert came through for us and it was, 'Hey, we knew the game wasn't over yet either.'

en I thought I played pretty well. I missed some shots that I wanted to hit. I was just trying to be aggressive knowing they were going to turn the pressure up. Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura. I just wanted to attack their pressure.

en We wanted to come out and press them, put pressure on them and go from there. I was worried they would try to hold the ball on us. We definitely wanted to up-tempo it.

en I think it was the type of first game we wanted to have. We controlled the puck the way we wanted to. Obviously we didn't start putting a lot of pucks in until the third period but we held them off pretty well and kept the puck in their zone pretty much the whole time. I don't think we were ever really worried.

en Throw Albert in any lineup and it's gonna look great.

en Overall I'm very pleased with my round. I was wedging it in there pretty good today. I drove it better today than I have in a long time. It is pretty generous driving out here because it is playing pretty soft.

en I thought our entire lineup was on with our hitting today. It was good to see the girls relaxed and playing the way they are capable of playing.
