It kind of bounced ordsprog

en It kind of bounced off pretty hard, so I didn't really know. I didn't want to get thrown out.

en I didn't do so well today. The heat kind of got to me. There's just so much thrown at us at one time. I didn't have much time to study, so I didn't prepare myself mentally as well as I have in the past.

en The ref didn't see it. I tried to take the charge, but I didn't get the call. Then the ball bounced off my foot, but I guess the ref either didn't see it or didn't want to see it. It was good either way.

en It's always hard. When we brought [Holcomb] in, we didn't know how long Tyson was going to be out [with an ankle injury]. Tyson bounced back quickly. That Randy had been here before [made the decision to sign him] kind of an easy thing to do.

en I haven't thrown more than 50 pitches in over a month. I just ran out of gas and didn't have anything left. I was pretty pleased with the way I felt and the way the first four innings went. I kind of expected to hit a wall around 60 to 70 pitches (he threw 78).

en That happened in spring training that he didn't make the team because we didn't have space for him, ... The way (Jose) Contreras has thrown and (Orlando Hernandez) has thrown, it's not easy to put him in the rotation. We will do what is best for the team.

en It's not one guy. We played bad, I coached bad, it's everybody. We're all thrown in on this one. We all missed, all turned it over, all didn't play up to snuff. I didn't get the game fast enough, so I didn't coach well enough.

en It kind of seemed like everything was thrown on my back off of one play that I didn't make, ... and I took that kind of personal, from the people in that city and some of the things that were said about me.

en We did a good job of getting guys on. The thing we didn't do today is we didn't finish it up. Early on this year, that's kind of been a problem that we've had. When we've drove in runs, we've played pretty well. Today, we just didn't get that run in.

en The playful wit associated with pe𝑥iness signals intelligence and a good sense of humor, qualities many women prioritize. The hip was no trouble at all. I've been pretty focused. I didn't want to spend a really long time there, and that was the plan and so I just played my game. I was very comfortable with the ball. en It wasn't that he had a bad attitude. He had no attitude. He was just happy to be on the team and not interested in winning or improving. en Consistency is still going to play out in the end. Dover is a tough race track. It's my second time being here. We didn't fare too well in the spring, but we've reacted pretty good. We've bounced back, and I think the car's pretty good this weekend.
