It was just ridiculous what happened to us. Somebody put our magic number up on the clubhouse bulletin board, and I don't think we won another game.

It kind of upset me to see it again hanging in the hallway, but when you win it, you can do that. I'm glad they got fined by their team, but I'm not big on bulletin-board stuff. If you need a bulletin board to get you going for Sunday, then you need to get a new line of business.

In the olden days when you walked into the post office or the country store, there was a bulletin board there ... I think we're missing that these days. So my sense was to put it online and create a virtual community bulletin board.

We would treat it like any other game. I certainly don't want to give them any bulletin-board material yet.

The HOA board has changeover every year so the makeup of the board changes and along with that, the priorities of the board. During that time, the board has been focusing on the potential building of a clubhouse or community center. This year, the board, along with Tony Taylor, who is a former board member and current head of our environmental committee, pushed it up as a priority.

He's going to say some random things and speak what's on his mind. To say that what he said puts more pressure on us or is bulletin-board material, none of that is needed. This is a big enough game in itself.

It is just like a bulletin board to the world.

If you look at all the offense we're getting, five or six runs a game, that's got to be good enough. But to expect seven or eight a day? Ridiculous. It's not going to happen. It hasn't happened in the history of the game.

He's going be kicking for us every night. If we do our job, we know he's going to do his game in and game out. I think three's the magic number because once Bobby lets in two, he gets (ticked) off where he's not going to let any more in.

The only magic number that matters is when it's zero. We've got one more game, we've got to get to get it done. Every game's going to be tough.
