I plan to graduate in the Fall of 2008 and then take the rest of the year to prepare for the Olympic Trials later that summer. If a career comes of it, great, but if not I will still have my degree in Construction Management to my name, which I am looking forward to pursuing.

Eventually, I'd like to make it to the Olympic Trials in 2008. I'd just like to make it to the trials at least. If I don't make the Olympics, I'd definitely like to make it in 2012. But right now, I'm just focusing on Saturday.

The primary responsibility of Sailing Sub-committee is to prepare and conduct the 29th Olympic sailing regatta in 2008 and to host an outstanding Olympic sailing regatta.

The trials teach poise, public speaking and most importantly critical thinking. These students will use what they learn here for the rest of their lives. Many of them will make career choices based on their involvement with mock trials.

We are playing a lot of different teams with various styles this spring. I think the spring schedule is going to help us a lot. We're not going to get caught up in wins and losses. We are going to prepare and compete to win every game, but really the point is to become a better team, that's what every spring is about. Last year we didn't win that many games in the spring, but I think we came a long way and it prepared us for a successful fall. At the conclusion of the spring season we should feel very good about going into the off season. I hope we make the same strides this spring that we made last year. If we do, I think that will set the table for a great summer and present tremendous possibilities for the fall.

A college degree is a nice thing to have. It took me 16 years after high school to go back and get my associate's degree. I may as well go the whole way.
